A rare spectacle.

                           After a bright sunny day, i expected good photographs of the sky and setting Sun. The outcome of the pictures taken was not what i had hoped for. It is truly a marvel what nature can offer us if we preserve the nature. In all photographs published here, one will get an impression that these are the photographs taken out of volcano eruption and flow of Lava aftermath. Take a look at the blazing and radiant rays sprouting of the clouds even while litting up the clouds.

   

Is Moon in the Picture?

A tricky question. Is Moon in the picture? The first impression one will get when one sees the picture is YES. But after reading the post, the doubts will certainly be cleared. this is what i experienced.

                               Well, This was another photo session late in the evening and darkness had almost ascended. After a hot and bright sunny day, i was surprised to see the dark clouds appearing from nowhere. This prompted me to take some photos. When i took the picture above and previewed, i was surprised to see the Moon which is visible in the photograph.The same was not visible to my naked eye. This prompted me take another Photo.

                               Again, in the photo below, the moon is quite visible. At first i thought it must be unique and special. It was not visible to the naked eye and here it appears again and again when i take a shot. Later i slowly checked on the camera lens and voila, there lied the secret to this miracle. It was a tiny dust particle which was appearing on the photo in the shape of the Moon.

The pictures published below were shot a couple of days back in broad daylight. It was hot and humid and above it was  very cloudy as well. I thought it would make a good photo session.

An Art in the Sky, by Nature.

                              What a painting this has turned out to be? If that's what you are thinking, then it is not painted by me. It is a painting by the God himself, with Sky as the canvas he has used and the Sun's rays as the colors used.

Just marvel at its beauty.

 

                              A first impression that one gets at the sight of these Photographs is an appreciation of the Art. In fact my Son, who is 5 years old, waas appreciating me thinking that i had painted this really well, though i know that i have never painted in my life seriously.

                             

                                This appreciation from my son should definitely go to Nature and its creator for bringing out such a beautiful natural Art in the Sky. As is clearly visible there are no clouds with clear sky around. The only clouds that are visible are the ones in the Picture. It was around the time when the Sun was about to settle down into the Arabian Sea when i shot these pictures.

Is it a Volcano eruption?

The Sun was hot that it's red rays lit up the clouds and it looked like there was an Volcano Eruption. The effect was a treat to watch.

Preying For Survival?

                            We all know that hunting is an art and is practised by human beings for the Animal skins,Food,etc and done by wild animals for Survival.This is the small story of LIZ(Lizard) and SECT(Insect).

                  On the balcony of the house i live, there is a shed with Asbestos sheet covered as roof.The entire story is based on Hunting for a prey for survival and how LIZ has mastered the art of hunting.It was late in the evening and the lights were on.As it was little chilly, i prepared some coffee for myself and entered the balcony with Coffee mug in one hand and Camera in the other.I wanted to check the photos that i had taken in the evening.I noticed some movement under the behind the light that was fixed to the wall. LIZ slowly started moving out and i wondered what might be the reason.

                         I slowly switched on my camera and moved closer towards LIZ. I could feel the energy and enthusiasm LIZ was showing.Normally when human beings move towards Lizards, they run and take shelter.That was not the case with LIZ.

                       Suddenly my eyes fell on SECT.He was perched near the Electric cable pipe fixed to the wall. All his six legs moving very slowly with his tentacles sensing the dangers and safety of the path ahead. He was attracted towards the glare of the light that was on.

    

               LIZ started moving slowly towards the Pipes and he found himself a perfect place from where he can easily Prey on SECT.

                        Unable to sense the danger that was ahead to his life, the SECT slowly climbed the Circle shaped Junction Box and his mere sight made LIZ to be more alert as his anticipation about SECT coming near the Pipes was true.LIZ did not move.He knew that SECT would fly away even if a slightest movement is sensed by him.Slowly but surely SECT was moving towards a trap laid by LIZ.He had moved to a distance that was enough for LIZ to have a decent starter if not Supper. Within fraction of a second, LIZ had preyed on SECT and devoured him.

                          After having SECT for a good starter, LIZ was lucky enough to find another insect falling to his trap and finished his supper/dinner.

                         The Creation of the Universe is so beautiful that the creator has given the strength to each and every Living Organism not only to survive, but has put in enough knowledge to be successful with the sources of survival at one's disposal.

Beautiful Culmination of Clouds.

            

                    I was traveling on Business to a nearby place called Hassan, which is around 70 miles from Mysore. All of a sudden the dark clouds appeared and later a fierce rain followed which i had never experienced in my life. All i did was to enjoy the Culmination of clouds and the rain from the closed doors of the Bus and the photos have been shot from the Bus itself.

Natural Colored Lights in the Sky.

                       After a warm and bright Sunny day, as the evening dawned, so dawned the dark clouds. The photos in this post were taken yesterday evening and in the above photo small groups of clouds being lit up by the Sun's Rays.I felt a thousand lights in the sky as i was shooting this photo and later an unexpected rain after a hot sunny day plunged the city into darkness very early.

An Aircraft or Cloud on Fire.

                   This photo stands amongst some of the best pictures i have taken about the Clouds. It was a warm evening with dark clouds covering the skies. I was prepared  with my camera as usual to take some good pictures and this particular cloud formation impressed me. One can notice the clouds taking the shape of an Aircraft/Jet(Just above the date printed on the photo) and it appears to be on fire with the Sun's Rays falling on the clouds. 

Is this what is meant by a Clean Shave.?

                         It was December and my trip to Kolkata,India on Business was not so hectic as was expected to be and i thought of visiting the nearby places. It was very chilly in the evening and the time was close to 7:00. during winter, darkness ascends very quickly in this part of India. I was waiting at the Local Railway station to catch a train when this Tree caught my Eye. When i checked about the spate of the Tree with staff of Railway station, i came to know that this tree has been in this condition for more than 30 years now.

                        There is nothing left of the tree except the Trunk and even today, it stays planted into the ground. The first thing that attracted me to this tree was the numerical 4 that it resembles. If at all an award is offered for a clean Shave, then take my word. This Tree would sweep all the awards in that Category.

The Sacred OM in the Sky.

                      The day was warm and Bright with Sunlight. I thought it the right time to take some Pictures as the Sky was clear with odd appearances of the Clouds. After this picture was taken and i downloaded it into the Sony Vaio Laptop, I was surprised at the way the picture had turned out. Initially i had an impression that it was just another cloud being dragged with the wind. But the wind speed was normal during the day. I was thrilled to notice the Sacred Symbol of Hindus, the "OM" formed by the clouds.

A Crow finds a Peaceful place.

        We all know that how one yearns and waits for the season of Mangoes, the  king of Fruits.The photographs below were taken when i was standing near my neighbors house and talking to him.

                    

                     The first thought i had after i saw this, "Is the entire City, Area and The Streets Polluted?".The answer should be definitely a YES and no prizes for guessing the answer. After seeing the Crow which happened to be desperate to find a place so peaceful so that it can have a taste of its catch. the Prized Mango Fruit.

                       It's become more and more difficult nowadays to take a good breath with the amount of Pollution. At least the Crow is Lucky and Happy to find the Gates of my neighbors house to sit on and finish his Royal Fruit.

Laser Show or Clouds show.

               

              It was a warm evening and the Sun was just about to set. The sky was filled with the radiant Sun's Rays and the clouds were as magnificent as ever. I noticed some kind of Lines breaking through the clouds. Immediately i took my camera and shot these pictures.

            This is the picture i liked most for the evening shoot.When it was captured, i never realized that it would turn out like this. Once i loaded it to my laptop, i was surprised at the way the Sun and Clouds have joined together to give such a marvel. It looks like there is a beautiful natural Light show in the Sky. 

An Animal or Cloud.

It was late in the evening and i was ready with my camera as usual to take some pictures of Clouds with Sunset in the backdrop. I am really amazed and at the same time surprised at this Photo. The clouds have taken the form of a Leaping Animal.

A section of cloud had formed the shape of an Animal and the same has been photographed and published here. The Face with mouth open, Front and Back legs and even the tail of the Animal is clearly visible. The only thing i am not able to determine is " Which Animal is this?". Hope   You, the readers will tell me what this is.

Law of Attraction.

Is attraction limited to only Human beings, Animals etc. Well, you will be thinking again once seeing these pictures. It was as usual late in the noon around 2:30 and i was just relaxing on the balcony of my house when i got to take these pictures which shows that even CLOUDS do attract each other.

In this particular photo, one can observe the Aura of the 2 Clouds close to each other. There were some white lines or rays joining these 2 photos as visible.I thought it should make a good photo added to my collection. I have always been fascinated by the Sky,Clouds and their movements.

This was the photo i like that day the most. In fact in the picture taken, there is a whirlpool of clouds clearly visible and it is pulling the nearby adjacent clouds towards it. We say that we have moved very far in understanding science. What about the most important creation? The Nature. Are we even close to understanding the nature Yet?After seeing that day, i started to believe that the Laws of Attraction cannot not be limited to one particular thing.

Solar Eclipse in Jan 2010

                   The day is Jan 15th 2010. People all over the world were eagerly anticipating the Day as the Years Solar Eclipse was about to occur.In India, This particular Solar Eclipse was considered to be very auspicious by some and inauspicious by many. I was lucky to get some photos of the Eclipse.Here is the photo taken in the beginning.

                     As the Eclipse started slowly there were some amazing formations in the clouds due to the Sun Rays falling on them with each passing minute. In this particular image, one can closely see the number 3 (2 3's embedded one in another).

 

 I enjoyed each passing minute of the eclipse as i was thrilled to watch the changing of forms of clouds. Then arrived the moment i was waiting for.In the Image below, one can see the Sun Partially covered by the Eclipse.I have captured this photograph with the help of my Binoculars.

Helping One Another

 

The entire Highway was blocked by Landslide. We started to call passengers from other vehicles to mutually help each other in clearing the big boulders and trees from the path.

 The debris and sludge that occurred due to landslide  filled the road upto 20 feet high. some 50 to 60 passengers volunteered to manually level the road so that vehicles can pass.
